Are There Monsters?

‘Are there monsters?' is an interactive storybook for young children ages 4-6, who have a fear of darkness or are in a state where the symptoms are starting to develop. The aim of the thesis is to encourage young children to overcome their fear and to prevent the fear from developing into more serious mental problems

(such as Nyctophobia, anxiety, etc) The storybook was based on the concept of cognitive treatment combined with parental support to promote family relationships in order to help the young reader coping with the darkness fear.
